Yellowstone National Park

Over Labor Day weekend Steve and I went to Yellowstone. We took soooo many pictures. It was my first time there and I was thoroughly amazed and can't wait to go back. Steve used to work there and knew all the cool places to go. He was a great tour guide. Our first full day there we saw elk, moose, black bears, a wolf, a grizzly, a coyote, some deer, and a ton of bison. It was great! I just have to share some of the pictures...

The coyote...

Yellowstone Lake. Can you believe that sky?

This is just above Upper Falls.

Is this Ireland or Wyoming? Amazing!

The mornings were always the prettiest.

This guy was so majestic and graceful.

Can you name the three animals in this picture? Hint: The speck in the upper left hand corner is a grizzly.
Here's a zoom-in of the grizzly.
a moose!
There is a wolf under that tree... I promise!
What world did Yellowstone come from? Seriously.
This bull elk was hanging around our camp ground. He would bugle all night. It was kinda nice to fall asleep to it.
Mmmm... tastey!
Can you see the red in both their eyes?
This isn't black & white. Its morning mist covering the trees. Again... I loved the mornings.
A beautiful valley with a gorgeous sky.
Those colors! The sunset did a great job painting the cliffs and clouds.
How do they walk through the woods with those racks?
This black bear was right by our car. He's cute!
We still can't figure out what this animal is. Is it a bear or a bison? What do you think?

Wow! Those pics are awesome! I especially love the one with the rainbow and I couldn't believe the one that looked b&w was actually in color! I love monochromatic looking stuff. Beautiful!
